The site is not active yet because we are waiting for the MLS search still, but what do you all think of the content?

Thanks!

Loc: Kentucky - in a barn!
Pros:
clean, simple, easy to read

Cons:
There is 1 "wall" of text. More breaks for that paragraph, photo(s), etc would make it easier to digest for a customer. People are likely to hit the first or second line and start getting glassy eyed.

I would add a second MLS SEARCH button - big and prominent somewhere on the page.

And the last is personal preference: I personally don't like photos of agents. It creates branding/recognition around that specific individual.
So, as you grow (hopefully), you will need to add on additional team members/licensed assistants. And then customers will feel that they are dealing with a "second stringer" rather than the head person that they see on all of the advertising/marketing.
(Or you have to adjust your marketing every single time you pick up additional persons that are going to be dealing with your clients. An inefficient way of doing things IMO.)

And secondly, 20 or 30 years from now when you go to retire, it will make it much harder to sell your business that has branded itself as Jim Bob real estate.
I personally like logos, slogans, etc that do NOT make the agent themselves the primary focus.

Greta, very nice. EZ to navigate.

Can I suggest in your "buyers" section instead of suggesting the buyer create a hand written wish list of their needs, provide them with an online wish list. Hand written forms are becoming a thing of the past with the Internet savvy buyers of today.

http://www.firsthometeam.net/cst/1691/buyers___sellers/ Has a good amount of information and content. Thats a thumbs up. One thing though - When a user is faced with that much text they, more often than not, skim through it. Having all that information is great, but do realize people never read entire paragraphs. I suggest bolding certain phrases and keywords. People respond to "How long?" "How Much" and so on. Just an idea.

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
