Don't laugh, I'm a computer moron. What the heck is a plug-in and how do I register one? When I open a photo with Nero PhotoSnap Viewer Essentials and click on Edit, it tells me 'There are no plug-ins currently registered. Do you want to try to find some?' I click on yes and a box pops up, I click on Start, and it finds 4 plug-ins.

I click on register, and it says 4 plug-ins registered successfully. But I still can't edit photos. What do I need to do?? I've been going through this same process for like 4 hours, I tried updating Nero, I restored my system to a few days ago (when I could still edit photos), nothing is working.

try this;

Open this photosnap viewer,
under the file tab, choose configure plug-ins.
Unregister all,
then push register plugin button
from
C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero PhotoSnap

register
XImgPlg.dll
FImgPlg.dll

Thanks altarealtor - it didn't work, but thanks for trying A while back, I couldn't even open photos, and I somehow managed to figure out how to fix that - I have no idea what I did, I should have wrote it down. This problem has me stumped. I might need to remove Nero and start all over, I think I did that last time I had a problem....
