Timely Post ...SeattleGal! I happened to be making my doorhangers last night. I went into my local Kmart and purchased a paper puncher and 2 bags of rubber-bands. Then you just attatch the rubber-bands to the corner of your postcard...as in my case their an oversize postcard. I have about 4 different variations of renter pieces I can email ya Since it probably won't come close to the kind of leads you generate in one day with the UYS's I have put this campaign off. But I've decided to go ahead with it and hit 4-5 high end complexes and see what the results are. I'd be inclined to compare results with anyone else doing this to see if the response rates come in about the same percentage (depending on the mkt. piece/offer used)

Great idea montanaland.
At christmas time, I have seen folks do basically the same with those xmas stockings that are made from a mesh material. They put all their info in their with a candy cane.
You can apparently get those type of xmas stockings pretty cheap - like a few cents each - when you buy a larger number of them.

High End Complexes in your area must not have those No Trespassing and No Solicitation signs up or do they and you just convienently don't see them. Last week I caught some new agent putting doorhangers up at a 24unit complex I own. She was not happy when I came to her office and dropped her 24 door hangers on her desk and told her not to come back unless she has a signed EBA with a tenant. Seens her mentor had told her that those No Solicitation signs did not apply to agents. I went to her managing broker and suggested he start a mentor school!. He apologized and promised to have a long talk with this mentor. Stick to mailed postcards for posted complexes. Originally posted by Montanaland: Timely Post ...SeattleGal!

I've been to praticially every high-end rental complex in Billings (8-12 complexes) and most of the them have no signs or stickers up what so ever. However some do- inside the entry-ways on the doors, in which that translates to me as "windsheilds only".

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
