Can someone point me to a list of companies that provide tri merge credit reports. With the wide variance in scores between the various companies, I need to know alternatives that I can suggest to my buyer clients. Thanks!

Well, I know Landsafe usually comes in higher than Informative Research, but a lot of companies won't accept a Landsafe credit report.

I use Landsafe but if I had it to do over I'd prolly go w/Advantage I am liking their *what if* feature that allows you to run various scenarios ie pay this cc down vs that one & what the score boost might be.

Also seems like Advantage is easier to get accepted w/o repull.

You have to be careful on the credit pulling company that you use. Some lenders will not take certain companies credit report and they will re-pull credit.

Although I also prefer Advantage, Credco is a good one. A number of lenders will use your Credco report. I am working on a subprime in B'ham and Option One is using my Credco credit. First Franklin will use either the broker's report or theirs for scoring. Countrywide only uses Landsafe. I believe they own them.

Of the hundreds of reports I read each week, I have to say, I like Kroll Factual Data's layout the best... but don't take my preference of aesthetic features as advice which is more accurate or used by most lenders...

here's a list of credit the most commonly used credit companies:

First American Credco
Kroll Factual Data
INformative Research
Equifax
Landsafe
Fiserv credstar
Credit Plus

There is also TON of subaccount affiliate vendors. Most lenders however should take the original credit report and just reissue it instead of pulling their own credit unless the borrower is subprime.
