Find a good reputable broker and sign up with them as a loan officer, I don't know how MI is but most states require LO experience before they will give you a brokers license. Very little education required in most states, but make sure you can get with a broker that will work with you because it isn't like RE. In a RE transaction there isn't but about 15 documents to get signed (guess) states vary, mortgages can be up to 60 depending on the loan.
