I read one person in my previous post suggest I go out and make some "REAL" money. I'm thinking of heeding that advice.
I'm kind of new, been doing RE for just 4 months. Surprisingly I've closed a few rental deals already, and I'm very happy with the people I work with (except the UNLICENSED squad in the firm).
Today I go for a nice rental, $2800 per month. I get the client to the door and the damn keys won't open the door. I guess this happens on occassion. I'm not blaming it on company incompetence, although it's certainly not the first time it's happened to me.
So that's my question. All considered, am I content to do these small rental deals or do I go out for some big pie-in-the-sky opportunity with another firm? I've already got an offer to work for a more established firm than I work for now and last I checked there's no shortage of New York RE agencies for a licnesed (OR sadly unlicensed) sales agent to choose from.
