I was warned about exactly what this article is about.

The scary thing is that the folks on the other end of this deal are not dumb - they know better than to target agents with years of experience (and who can, *presumably*, recognize the con). Instead, they target the eager newbies that just want to transaction, damn the consequences.

Look, if anyone on this site wanted to get rich and famous (at the price of delving into a couple years of dutiful research), then putting together a book on Real Estate and Mortgage Fraud
is your passport.

My old broker used to say: Every month in Southern California at least 10 mortgage brokers go to prison ... and that was before the massive run-up and madness and corruption of the last 10 years.

There seems to be a certain innocence among the posters on this site, but this real estate business as controlled by real estate agents is mostly a corrupt business.

I have thought about writing that book myself, but I am too lazy and undisciplined to put the time and effort in -- but I did choose my title about 10 years ago.

mortgage fraud is rampant in calif,florida,ga,texas and many other states... so is greed,hungry,poverty and education..:-)
