Unfortunately, there is no sure way to find out if the call capture will work for you, until you try it.
Personally, I did not find that the call capture worked any differently than a regular number. For example, if you run ads that say "Motivated Seller, must sell" and then have a 24 hr info vs. a regular cell phone number, the amount of calls would be the same (for me).
I've called the realtors in my area that advertise in the yellow book and they told me that the calls did not pour in right away, and in some cases took months to start getting them. Which to me, sounds that the call capture line did not really do anything a local number would not do.
You mileage will vary. Keep in mind, that the call capture line will NOT generate leads if you do nothing other than subscribe to the number. SO, the best way to go about it to send your mailers, run your ads, etc... with a local number and then run the same ads with the call capture 24 hour ad number.
But then you'll find out why many pros don't run the ads at all. They go aggressively after the type of listings or clients (in your case) that will generate business.
Hope this helps.

In my area, there is a loan officer that provides the number to agents provided he gets the loan leads from the calls. So what you can do is contact the listing agents that do not use the number and offer to get them the number on their listings.
Lastly, perhaps you can buy just one number with 100 extensions (adtrakker has 24.99/mo plan for 100 mirrored extentions) and then you can get kall8 services and buy additional numbers which could be forwarded to the adtrakker.
So, agent A would use number 877-xxx-xxxx, agent B would use 866-xxx-xxxx but all of their numbers would point to your main adtrakker number.
Your charges would be high per min. (7c/min for addtrakker and 7c/min for kall8, but it could be worth it in the end.

I'm not sure about their business. But then I'm not sure how many agents are taking his offer. He continues to offer it, so it may work for him. But I am not sure.

I tried call capture with Arch Telecom and had little success. The call capture system was somewhat easy to set-up and the guide that comes with it was informative. I used it for about 6 months and got little results. I might use this system again if I can increase the amount of listings I have. I like the idea of spliting the cost with someone else. I will look into that for myself if I use call capture again. why not use the other agents listings in office also im sure they want mine if you use advertise their stuff as long as their getting a commision who cares who listed it and you will still get to meet some buyers also

I have used call capture before I moved out of Delaware and into New Jersey. A Mortgage broker was doing it. She offered it to any agent who wanted to use it. The deal was that she also got to follow up with the leads in order to try to get them as mortgage clients.
It works fine, you have to follow up with these people. You will get your share of people who will give you strange statements such as I never called about a house, you have the wrong person. Or a Oldie but a goody, Who gave you my number, you have no right to call my number. Hehe love that one.
I did get close able leads out of it though, just have to work it, and you have to follow up as fast as you can from the point the people call the 800 capture number.

It all depends on the listing. If it is a in demand area, and the curb appeal is good, 3 or 4 a day the first week, then it would tail off to 2 or 3 a week after that.
It the house did not look good it would be more like 2 or 3 a week the first week or so then almost nothing after that.
I would say 1 in 6 were decent leads, I probably captured and closed, made money on 1 in 20.
You have to call them back right away though. You wait even 1 hour and your chances drop.

Yes, and the better the houses are the better the call volume. Just don't expect to get hundreds of leads off of one house. More like 20 or 30 at the most.

5 turn into closed deals??? No no no, not likely, For every listing you ever get, if you also get one other deal out of each, you will be doing really well.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
