Some companies offer salary like 50,000 plus they take a huge chunk of the commission,so while it sounds good 100k a year in commercial it's peanuts. Some deals take years to close been working on one for 2 years where I will pocket 500k.There are many avenues in commercial you can focus on business brokerage, land deals, land assemblages for revitalization projects, being a lease property manager, site location for businesses Home Depot,Lowe's,Walgreens,Checkers, etc.,or selling the buildings. Then you can get into subsets like office properties, shooping center, industrial,& warehouse properties to name a few.
I particularly like it because I have always been an entreprenuer who has owned multiple businesses.
