Received a word doc via email from a lender, once I saved it, then re-opened, I've noticed a "q" paragraph symbol, thru-out the page, and discovered that ALL of my word docs suddenly look like that? Wrote the lender back, and they say it looks just fine at their end? what did I do?? and HOW can I get everything back to normal?? I cannot fill out the form, nor delete all the symbols-thanks for you help

Not sure exactly how Word works anymore since I haven't used it in awhile, but try this...

I use Works on my home computer, and at the top of the screen I click on "View" and then scroll down to "All Characters" to toggle that function on and off.

It's worth a try.

It's an easy fix.

Just open the document and use the following shortcut:

Ctrl+Shift+8

~or~

There should be a P symbol on your toolbar. You can click it to remove the symbol.
