Short time lurker, first time poster! You guys and girls are awesome!
I have about 5 listed REO's with Ocwen. One, I've had for 1 year and counting.
Within that year I have had about 10 offers from investors that have been responded to within 24 hours, either a counter or and refusal.
Last week I received a valid offer from a legitimate buyer with 20% down and 30 day close and Ocwen has not responded after several emails and phone calls.
Has anyone here successfully closed an REO with ocwen?

Thank you, that is exactly what happened Charlottereo! I had to call several times to get that information. They said it would take 2-3 more days and the buyer won't wait!

How do you get Listings from them? I have done the training and have been in the system for quite a while now with no BPO/REO work.

We have some strange files with them, 2 listings and 3 in pre-list. 2 of the prop are *!!t holes- I get my bids, give extensive market comments, they tell me it is considered a high dollar property and they way over price them- go figure. I have one in pre-list where the owner refused the cash for keys, went to check the occupancy today, neighbor indicates that he helped them move out last week and that the owner states he is getting $500 to be out in 30 days if the house is clean????? I contact the AM who knows nothing about this but tells me that she is having the field service company rekey. Now, why would she do that if he has made arrangements with someone to be out by a certain time and leave the house clean?? She tells us to get a hold of the owner and get a copy of the agreement so that she can authorize the cash for keys??? OK, at this point I am confused - the owner no longer lives there. Sometimes I do not think that they read the emails entirely. Oh well, I do like working with them.
Contiguous-We never took the training, we just started getting REO assigments? Keep with it, they will probably contact you at some point.

I've never had an ounce of luck with Ocwen's website. Maybe it's because I don't know how to use the site. I got a call a few weeks ago asking me if I was signed up and I said yes but I never get anything. The ladys said it was probably because I haven't gotten their training and said that there was 3pm online class that day. She told me to wait for the email invitation to the class and just log in.
The email never came, still no orders..Anyone have some pointers to share? PM if you like.
Thanks in advance.

I took their training 4 years ago and I got BPO's for at least 2 years and out of the blue, they sent me an REO.
They reimburse quicker than other banks; however their properties are baddddd!! They overprice them and turn down most offers!! Until all the banks get realistic, we're just 'property managing'!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
