What are the major differences between treo and blackberry? Anyone want to share the pros or cons of both?

i have a blackberry and love it...from what i understood blackberry is the only phone that has true push email...which i believe means...the second someone hits send...you recieve the email...they have a patent or something...so treo instead of instantly recieving emails...it refreshes constantly...you can set it to refresh whenever you want...also treo has a touch screen, blackberrys have a wheel or pearl...ive heard the new blackberry curve is amazing....

one vote for blackberry on my part!

i write and recieve all my emails to it and have had no problem.

Instant "push" e-mail is not exclusive to Blackberry! The Treo and any windows mobile powered phone can be set up with push e-mail.

Just wanted to clarify that. I have a T-Mobile Dash with Windows Mobile 6 and I have push e-mail. Works great!

If you have T-Mobile, I recommend the T-Mobile Dash.

Do Blackberry's have the ability to utilize an E Key for the electronic lockboxes? I don't think they do and in my market this would be a key factor, no pun intended. Keeping another electronic gadget out of my pockets would help...

They don't have the ability to do E-key yet. However, I have suggested it to Supra.

IMO, the Blackberry is far superior to the Treo in technological terms. Although Treo now boasts their own "push" technology, it still is slower to get emails than the BB. I had a Treo for about a month, and even though it has the E-key capability, I preferred the BB.

I am really excited about the iPhone. The only drawback is that our MLS does not work on Safari (Apple's browser).

I've had my Treo 700w for over a year now and I love it. It synchronizes perfectly with outlook. It works with Ekey as it has an IR port.

It checks my email accounts and often gets mail faster than my laptop. The touch screen is extremely nice. The voice recognition is nice for looking up contacts in the car.

I share my unlimited data connection with my laptop via bluetooth (slick deal). This phone is worth taking a look at.

I have a treo 700p it is ok, but would rather have a blackberry. I use mine for lock boxes as well as all the other functions of the phone which is why I have this rather than the blackberry.
