Just wondering how many in the forum are having major issues with completing their work because of the issue since Monday with propertylinx (powered by Marketlinx)
The gist of the problem...
Propertylinx is the point of MLS access for MIBOR and those of us in central Indiana. Monday, couldn't hit PL from home (office), it just hangs; but we don't have any other internet issues. PL access works fine at the local library and sisters place.
MIBOR guy was here for 4+ hours yesterday and still no go. He thought he had it fixed because at first look it appears that way but the way that Bob uses searches and statistics for BPOs, it's all messed up. He said that he has 5 or 6 others, including 2-3 brokers (multiple issues) that are having the same problem we are. We use roadrunner for internet but I don't know about anyone else. [MIBOR guy said one broker called and he could hit PL from 2 of the computers in his office(?) but not the 3rd; all using the same ISP]
The cause...
Late Saturday, Marketlinx applied an update to the firewall in their program (or whatever the correct term is). Seems like any user that was logged on at the time that they applied the update are the ones with messed up access.
The impact...
Bob frequently works in the evening after running around taking photos during the day or first thing in the morning around 6. Until this is fixed, he has to either go to the library and use their ISP and work paperless (hard to do) and print his report copies to pdf (to print later) or go over to his sisters place to work... which requires normal type hours.
Sooo... if there are others having the problem, we can sympathize. Bob lost one from CC for timeliness and had to turn down Murcor work because he just couldn't get to it with the access issues... what a pain! It makes me want to just pull my hair out.. figuratively of course..
