My webmaster did a marvelous job for me.

www.PegasusWeb.com

She also knows how to put your free link to your IDX/MLS site on there.

You can spend anything from around 1500 dollars to the skys the limit.

I agree with Jim...I started with free website from point2agent. Please let me know I can email you free invitation and check it how if that will work for you. Once you have website you can spend unlimited from paid clicks to hiring SEO expert.

Good Luck

IMO you are much better off spending a few bucks and getting a good site to start with. REW does have some great template sites that can still be under $1000 from the last I checked.

I have used point2agent and several other companies in the past. I LOVE linkurealty. They can do template, semi-custom, or custom, depending on your budget. The template sites are the best I've seen. No set up fee, and $30 per month. Mine is semi-custom. I think I spent about $300. www.CSColorado.com

It's very easy to learn basic HTML, CSS and PHP, which will allow you to build your own website. The one I'm marking right now took one day of coding, but it's the original content that's hard to do, and no webmaster can help you.

Too many realtors rely on template sites with no original content, and visitors immediately notice that, so your conversion rate drops.

Hahaha. Im sorry but something about the above post made me laugh. But dont be mad Jim as we are in the same area I hope someday our paths will cross. By the way if you cant say anything about Jims site the web adress alone is worth the $. Its always one of the first ones to pop up if you do a search for real estate in the Knox area. Kudos Jim!

Actually the URL (domain name) has nothing to do with why my site is ranked so high in the search engines.

My search engine optimization guy is in charge of that and he does a great job too.

Additionally there are several other search engine factors that impact a site's web ranking and how high it turns up in a search on Google, Yahoo, etc. such as longevity, content, structure, and a few more.

The most searched for keywords in most areas are usually "city, state, & real estate". In my area "Knoxville, Tennessee Real Estate" had 59,697 searches on Yahoo in June of this year. The next closest keyword set only had 6,760.

Don't worry, I don't get mad; your opinion is your opinion.

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
