I've seen the same signs. Seriously can anyone expect to be paid $20K/mo to be an *apprentice*?
If I recall those are handwritten signs . . .
Let's see, this investor is supposedly making boatloads of $ as the So Cal market tanks & all the other investors are getting out & this investor is sticking handwritten signs in front of trailer parks & along highways? Does this make great sense?
And this same hugely successful investor is trolling for apprentices w/signs on the highway?
My advice would be to find a good broker who has the time & will to train new agents, get your license and learn from your broker while attending seminars available via your local board & other legitimate sources.

There are tons of these same ads on Craigslist. Most are placed by Nouveau Riche University members/investors/apprentices. I think basically a new "apprentice" is asked to pay $8,000 or $16,000 to participate in NR's "investment" series of classes. The new member then is expected to recruit at least two new "apprentices." The first sub-line person's joining fee goes to the upline and the second sub-line person's joining fee reimburses you. So you have to recruit two people to break even.
I'm sure if there are any Nouveau Riche zealots on the board, they can correct my explanation.
If you Google Nouveau Riche you will find accounts from some people who claim that Nouveau Riche is positively the greatest thing since the beginning of time. Others will contend they are slime, marketing themselsve under the guise of creating "investor apprentices."

I haven't noticed them around here. It could be a Nouveau Riche technique or any one of a number of real estate gurus. Or of course maybe it's an investor looking for bird dogs.

I've read on investor sites that the hand written signs are very successful. I've seen other hand written signs for example for brand new mattresses and you call the number it's actually a warehouse (when you're thinking it's just someone that threw a sign together). If it works you'll see people doing it and if it's cheap you'll see more and more of them.

Seen them here also in Southern California. Sounds like a scam!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
