hi thinking about getting into real estate and not sure whether i want to become a R.E. or a mortgage broker was wondering how does one go about becoming a broker
It really depends on your state requirements. Indiana requires 24 hours of live classroom training and then 12 hours every other year. Regardless of your states requirements, the best thing you can do is find a good "mentor" broker to work for to start. I really wish i would have done this as i would probably be farther along in my career.
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however.
