Hello All - Does anyone know if PASREO will accept offers with VA financing? I've emailed my asset manager but haven't received a response. Thanks for your help!

They prefer, but cannot require, that mortgages go through Wells Fargo (they are a part of that company). Since Wells Fargo is one of the larger mortgage companies I'm sure they offer VA financing. I assume your buyers have an "eligibility certificate" from the VA. The next question is if the house will qualify for a VA guarranteed mortgage.

When did you apply with them and how, just mail the application to them? Last time I was on the site it said they were no longer accepting new agents.

I was invited, I completed the temporary link they sent me, I am now active. I did not have to take the course (at least they have not said anything to me about this), I paid no fee.

I sent my resume to PAS earlier in the year. They faxed me back indicating they had plenty of agents in my area but would keep my application on file. Here's some new information about becoming an agent.

Q. How do I become a PAS agent?

A. Enroll at http://www.defaultschool.com and pass the course titled Introduction to REO Brokerage. Once you pass the course, Default School will notify PAS. PAS will issue an e-mail invitation to join its BPO broker network, making you eligible for BPO fee-based business. This business will give you exposure to PAS, and depending on the quality of the BPO work you do and market needs, it may lead to REO listing opportunities.
