I was wondering if some of the vets could let me know what trade publications are the biggest and most popular when it comes to reading about and learning more about being a realtor.

No one had an answer to this? I'm intrested to know this as well. I get the Realtor magazine, but what else do you guys find beneficial to subscribe to?

I would say nothing.
There is plenty of info on the internet. Why pay another monthly fee? Do you have money to burn? If so, I can help you out.

Read real estate blogs. There are also some real estate news websites (which of course you can take with a grain of salt)

The amount of info you get from a magazine is little compared to the amount of advertising...lol...you pay all that money for a book filled with ads.

being a member of REALTOR gets you access to the "members only " info on their site, and most of the stuff online is free. I wouldn't subscribe to anything else...

Local newspaper it has a huge Real Estate section.
and online.

I like the RIS Media magazine that sends out from Buffini and Company.

Another good place to read free real estate articles is http://realestate.about.com/

And, it is worth a search anytime you want to explore a topic --- FSBOs, expired listings, internet marketing, open houses, etc.
