VelvetJones Member Registered: 04/06/07 Posts: 14 Loc: Low Country, SC	Unless you have very specific needs and an unlimited budget, I recommend against hosting your own site. The features you can now get from most hosting providers make rolling your own server a waste of time and resources. Only costs us $40 a year for 15GB storage, 200GB monthly transfer, unlimited email accounts, PHP and Ruby on Rails functionality all running on Apache. _________________________ Webmaster & Media Megalomaniac Fripp Island Real Estate dot com
