OK this is my question.. I have a cousin who has some land (well over a million dollars) Listed with another agent. The property was listed before I started selling RE. Her listing will expire soon and I would like to talk to her, but don’t want the listing agent to think I’m stepping out of line.. However she is family and I was thinking I could bring it up at a family function or just drop by one day to see how she “was” What do you all think… Also I have a 50/50 split with my broker, but I was thinking if I could get the list and the sell I would ask my broker for a 60/ 40 split……. As I have well surpassed proving myself and I am pretty sure I could get a developer to buy the land what do you all think?????
