Well, how would I know if its good or not. i would think hearing from so me ones experience is much better than hearing it from a organization or company. That is why I came on the forum. to get feedback, etc. and help pick a web designer for my site. I really dont have the money to spend to waist. I just finished answering a thread. a Veteran on here thought I was spamming because I wanted help selecting a layout from other realtors and find out what they think.. Where is the LOVE on this forum. This is my first week here. I love forums. but never felt so unwanted before like this.. All i want is some ideas and feedback.

Please excuse the suspicion of some of our members. We often get new members who pretend to ask questions about a company when they in fact work for the company. You probably aroused some suspicion because you made several posts in a short period of time all about the same company.

I don't know if anyone here uses Linkurealty but if someone does and is happy with them perhaps they will respond.

I just had a quick look for you at the first 6 sites from their testimonials page and aside from the first site none had any Google Page Rank. Without Page Rank a site would have problems ranking for competitive terms. The lack of Page Rank should be a flag that there may be issues with the sites and you should not rush into any decisions.

The only reason the first site had Page Rank is likely because it forwards through multiple domains acquiring their Page Rank through the redirects.

Hmmm... I am getting Page Rank now if I "refresh" the sites. Maybe my Google Toolbar acting up....

Jam, I am the same in that I love forums. They provide a great platform to exchange ideas and hear unbiased opinions based on real-world experience. So yes, this is the right place to ask your question. I previously suggested that you (or anyone, for that matter) be diligent in researching vendors. By that I don't mean to contact the company and just read their testimonials. Instead, google the terms for which you want to rank and see who designed those sites. Are they aesthetically pleasing to you? Check out their prices. Google out opinions for whatever company you are interested in (you will be surprised at the amount of information just floating in cyber space). I learned the hard way, had I googled the company who designed my site I would have known what to expect. I don't have any experience with Linkurealty but hopefully somebody who does will chime in. In the meantime feel free to ask more questions by posting or PM me if you any questions/concerns that you'd rather have answered privately. Best of luck.

Thanks everyone.. I did do a search on them and I couldn't find anything. I typed in Linkurealty and I was able to find tons of websites. most of them custome made. But they looked nice. But as far as forum, I cant find any review on them at all. Which is so strange.

I am still learning about the google and search thing.

Doug can u break it down to me on what it is that I should be looking for. I found numerous of sites that they designed. I want to look for the google page rank.

Today, I learned a little about the Spider from Godaddy, when i brought my domain from them. I remember u saying something earlier in another thread about spiders etc.

Can anyone shot out any web designers that is recommended. I only have like 599 to spend.

I brought 2 domains today. One is my name and the other is a trendy domain

The Page Rank issue is probably not really an issue with the websites - meaning they are not penalized or anything of that nature and do have the ability to acquire Google Page Rank. I think that fact that I have to "refresh" to see the Page Rank probably is an issue with how the sites are linked to on the testimonial page and not an issue with the sites themselves.

What is still an issue is what I had raised earlier in this thread (a couple of years ago). They still have not changed their system in that it would be up to you to customize all of your page titles and meta tags.

I clicked on one of the sites on their testimonial page - colemanrealtyllc.com - and the page title is "New Page 1". What that means is that the site as it is designed will not rank well. You have to take a hands-on approach to ensure that the site at least has a chance to move up in search engine rankings.

This is really an issue with pretty much all template type sites (the type of site that allows you to make your own changes and edit your material) - not just Linkurealty. They do not perform "out of the box". You really do have to do-it-yourself.

None of that matters if you have no intention of getting traffic from search engines. If you just want a site that you can send your clients to and that you can advertise on your business cards then you do not have to concern yourself with learning how to do your own SEO and site optimization.

I would like to use my site with the search engines. i plan on getting a SEO maybe a few months after my web page and keep up on it, Hoping to learn a few things about it in middle. I was going to select the Pro semi custom, I wonder if that has the page 1 etc. i have to figure out how u did that.

Are there any other designers on here that every recommend. I saw agent image, but they were very pricey, but there sites looks really nice.

My site is an Agent Image site and the set up was far from smooth (PM me for details). Learn SEO yourself, don't rely on overpriced services of questionable vendors.

I could not agree with Maui more on learning SEO for your self even if you end up hiring an outside company to do it for you later. I have wasted so much money on poor SEO and I have actually gotten penalized from unethical(black hat) practices because I did not know better at the time. Also I really enjoy doing my own SEO it allows me complete control of my online presence.

Totally agree with this. Too many people too much money on horrible services that don't produce results.

I agree with this to an extent. But remember, agents make money from selling houses, not from understanding SEO. Learn enough, but do not spend countless hours figuring out SEO -- it's a massively complex topic to learn in depth. If I was an agent, I'd find someone reputable to manage tech/SEO for me and worry about selling houses.

That's just my 2 cents though

When it comes to a website, worry about whether the site will convert traffic to leads. It's a mistake to get a "designer" to build a pretty website for you if it doesn't "work". It needs to give consumers what they want - a clean search interface, market data, what their home is worth - and have great conversion tools built in.

I could tell a designer did the SEO on their site :D

Never heard of them, but their site navigation is quite confusing. It seems that they offer website building services?
