Since I am not actually a licensed agent just yet, I thought I'd post my introduction in this forum.
I am quickly approaching my 30s and a RE license is something that I've always wanted to pursue and I have finally gone through the classes and reqs and have passed my RE exam! I am in the process of obtaining my license (fingerprints, background check, etx) and will have my license shortly.
As for my current professional life, I am a computer programmer an quite happy with it. I work as a consultant, so I already set my own hours and know the discipline that working from home with little/no supervision requires. However, I am not the traditional tech geek that has a degree in computer science; I have a business degree and would like to explore opportunities that "feed" that side of my brain.
I haven't fully decided if I will be a full-time or part-time agent just yet. I have no doubt that I can succeed as a full-time agent and my finances are decent. The only problem is that I happen to like my current job

I'm happy to have found such a great resource and I look forward to contributing to this board.
