To the other Brokers out there, what type of commission pay scale do you use to compensate your agents? In my area, some Brokers offer a sliding pay scale, and others offer a fixed. What do's and dont's do you recommend?

The pay scale should suit your goals and each brokerage/ broker has a different goal (or I should say, different ways of achieving the goal(s)). At my office, I have a transaction fee to pay and a maximum for a calender year..... It works for me (I'm not a broker).
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
