We have discussed this topic before. But I still occasionally get emails or private messages from folks who think that having a forum for verified agents and brokers is a good idea. Frankly, I think it would be good too if folks would participate.

So, I have put together something that I think you will like.

For those who just want to get on with it and stop reading this thing, here is the URL:

It is starting off simple. There is one basic forum where anyone can post and reply. Then there are two other forums designed specifically for agents and brokers. In order to join the groups that get access to those two forums, you need to send your real estate license number and the name of the state your licensed in to the admin (me). Send this via a private message in the forum so that I know who is supposed to be put into what group.

Now, your anonymity will remain COMPLETELY PROTECTED. None of your license or state information will be entered into the system. I will simply keep the emails filed away on my local system for verification purposes. This will let folks know they are indeed talking with fellow real estate agents while still protecting the anonymity of those who would not participate otherwise or just plain don't want their real info out there.

The software I am using has some pretty cool features including ignore, karma, group moderators (you can create your own group and run it how you like), a live chat feature called "The Shout Box" plus other pretty cool stuff.

So thats about it. This should forever put an end to talk about verified forums, cuz we got 'em.
