We are a small brokerage (and like that way). We are always on the outlook for cost savings in our operation but still maintaining a proff. image. Here are some products worth checking out:

*We are not affiliated with any of these companies, these are just the ones I like.

Free Stuff:

1. Airset.com - This is a free web based group calendars, contacts, events, blogs, tasks, etc. It has a great interface, but what sets this one apart is its desktop sync with outlook application. They are in beta on a mobile application as well.

2. Box.net - Free 1GB of online file storage, 5GB for 50.00 a year. Nice interface and easy to use.

3. Mozy.com - 2GB Free online storage for backups. Has a desktop application that will do incremental backups when the computer is idle.

This one is not FREE and we have just started using it. So far we have been really happy with the service and functionality.

Its a virtual PBX service provides a great service from setting up extensions to using it for a 800 service for listings. They have rates for as low as 2.9 cents a min. I did alot of research into these companies and decided to go with tollfreelive.com. The other plus with these guys is no contracts.

I actually use Accessline for my "virtual PBX". I am looking for some kind of virtual drive, on-line storage that will allow us to work with our ACT databases on-line. I am using a free trial with GlobalDrive. It allows us to store the ACT files on-line, but I can't work with them online. I believe that ACT 2005 would let us keep our databases online and work online, but ACT for Real Estate doesn't have that feature. It's just too much trouble having to work off of one computer all the time. I need to access my database from my home computer, office computer and laptop without jumping to a bunch of hoops to sync everything. Have you heard of a solution that might work?

Check out an intranet. A sample one for real estate is here.

You won't be able to use ACT though.

Thanks. I already have an intranet. I use the same company Keller Williams uses for their intranet. We can keep our databases online there; I just like ACT much better.
