I had one better than that! I got one that said he had a client that wished to do business in my area totalling 3.8 million dollars. He also wanted me to send him my share of the commission upfront and then I would be reimbursed once his client made a purchase. I think I will send my money tomorrow

I had "Natasha" removed. It's just another spam that we receive, which is against forum rules. I've been using Spamarrest.com for blocking email addresses and spam. Although the forum email still goes through, the people who sell my address can't make it past the spamguard.

Oh jeez. Enough of these Nigerian 409 scams already. If anyone is stupid enough to fall for one of these, they DESERVE to be taken to the cleaners!!!

There was a 20/20 (or one of the primetime shows) on about a week or so ago and it dealt with this scam. You would be amazed at the number of supposedly smart people that have gotten scammed by this and it is a multi-million dollar a year industry in Nigeria--one victim was a former congressman from Iowa--unreal.
