How is this done? Thru the state somehow (I'm in Florida). Back when I was a newly licensed associate I used to get bombarded with postcards, etc. and now that I have my own company I am wondering how they got my name and address.

You can purchase it from the State RE Commission. That's how my broker "recruit".

Same in California.

It is $200 for a delimited text file for Georgia.

I must be useless then. I passed my brokers test and could conceivably become someones associate broker and I didnt get one invite.

Yes I would like to get new agents. When I was newly licensed, I did wonder - but, I didn't care much because I wasn't a broker and couldn't hire agents anyway.

Just passed Broker State Exam... I'm a manager starting up a branch office in Alpharetta -- office is up and running & now have an office manager... I have about 20 agents already, but would like to get to 200 agents before the end of the year... I welcome any and all advice on accomplishing this... I have some of the best splits, broker support, training, personal websites for each agent, technology not to mention we are one of the fastest, largest, privately owned firms in GA. Is there any way to get a list of agents that have been in the field a certain amount of time? Say a year? Looking in Dallas, Texas.

I still am looking on how to get a list in Florida. I guess I could call and wait on hold for 20 minutes to ask the useless Dept of Real Estate "Customer Service". Or, maybe it's FREC. Who knows....

You are going to need a good system in order to manage 200 agents effectively. If not, you are looking for trouble down the road. Go to our website and click on "Agent Center" link and you will get some inside idea about our system.
