How did you come up with your company name? My 2 partners and I have been trying to come up with a name for our new company. We are stumped. We are leaving a small family company which uses their name. We have tried variations of our names together and it doesnt work. We would also like to keep it simple to remember. We have goals to go statewide so it can't be to local.

Any comments on how you came up with your name?

I own a franchise so it was easy, I had to use the franchise name, and then find something that sounded nice behind it. So I am "Franchise name here" Buyers & Sellers Advantage

I like Buyers & Sellers Advantage.

We thought about something kind of generic, not to offend anyone like Proffesional Realty or Premier Realty, but then thought in order to "Brand Ourself" we need to be more original.

We are a team now and use our city's name, Team Anytown, but people associate us with only that area not the surrounding areas we serve. So we are tying to avoid that.

Our Broker does not know we are making this change so I hesitate to give you our names.

My Market is Medicine Hat and my last name is Ellis. I had about 2 hours to come up with a name and it just popped into my head. My company name is CENTURY 21 Medellis Realty Ltd. It is not really obvious that my last name is in it because I have sooo many people ask me what my company name means ( i thought it was a no-brainer) guess it might be the way is flows.....

Where is Medicine Hat? What an unusal name!

Buyers & Sellers Advantage is probably taken... even though it might not be in your area.

You should do a check of the US Trademark Office first before you choose a name and start building a presence around it.

Ha Ha, I know! Medicine Hat is in Alberta, Canada......we have some creative ones up here!
