What are some good ones ?

If you are talking about pocket pc, I use PowerOne finance for amortization table, coolcalc for loan payments.

Texas Instruments works for me.

What model?

If you are using a PDA (Palm or the Windows PDA OS), you can find tons of apps that will run on those that will do all sorts of real estate calculations for you in an easy way. You can even then send the results of some calculations to someone elses device (phone, PDA, etc.) as a text document. So lets say you calculate out a mortgage payment then amortize it out - you can send all that info to your clients device... cool stuff.

I looked at a few and find loadexpert plus to be good and also have the export function

an HP 10BII will do everything you need.

For a PDA, you can't beat PZ Calc from Pat Zaby. It will let you amortize, qualify your buyer, figure lots of different calculations including how much you can save by making additional payments on your principal regularly.

Wow! PZ Calc do look great. Too bad it's only forr palmOS.

I have used a bunch of them at different times. The one I was using just before I went on sabbatical was called Loan Expert Plus.
