I would totally recommend The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller (of Keller Williams). I've been reading it, and the information in that book has given me a lot of ideas to begin my business and how to form an effective business model.

The one I am reading now, Real Estate Rainmaker Guide to Online Marketing is a really good book for helping you get the most out of your website. It is actually full of very useful information and ideas.

The Best Damn Sales Book Ever by Warren Greshes; Little Red Book of Selling & Little Red Book of Sales ANSWERS, both of these are by Jeffrey Gitomer. All of these books contain blunt advice that makes sense. You won't be disappointed!

I've read "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" by Gary Keller and "Mastering the Art of Selling Real Estate" by Tom Hopkins. You need to learn about Tom Hopkins. He's the man.

Here's another one... "Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz. This is a must read for understanding the power of your self image and how to take advantage of some very simple techniques for getting into a success mind set.

I love MREA as well... however there should be a warning page to stop at the end of the "Think A Million" when you're new. Some of the models will not apply to a new agents business and you can't just scale it down. For a new agent, that first section can be a great foundation.

"The Secret" is great. It is what we all been taught by parents, employers, friends, churches, but never really committed to it. I just received my video yesterday & I can't wait to let some friends watch it.
I think everyone should spend the $5 to watch it on the internet & then order the movie if you like it.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
