Just need some insight on how to take my business to the next level. In so many words it is like I work hard and work hard instead of working hard and smart. I will just like a little info I to get my career to the right street.

Set a goal of meeting a fixed number of new people (and swapping cards) per day/week/month. Do this consistently and keep in contact with these folks and you will see results.

Never quit learning, either. Remeber, nobody knows it all.

Put all your contacts in to your email program, or at very least- Excel. Once a month or so, email them something. Not "You ready to sell yet?", but something of substance, preferably RE related. Every quarter, make sure to call the entire list.

Frederick,

My name is Kerry Howell and I work for First Ohio Banc & Lending in Ohio. I am licensed in Maryland and 20 other states and I am looking for few good full time Realtors that want to work with a consumer loan agent who is ethical, gets the job done. I can provide your clients with great programs because we are a large firm with over 200 lenders available to us. I can work with the great credit clients and the not so great credit clients. I can work with those who have had a banktuptcy in the past and even one day out of that same bankruptcy on purchase programs. I am great at managing clients and their expectations and have some tools that may help you increase your sales and listings. Call with any questions you may have and ask for me.

No offense, Kerry but I don't think he is looking to pick up a lender. I think he is looking to hone his skills and to make contacts of potential clients.

In this day and age, your qualifications are pretty much on par with about 85% of other loan officers in the U.S. I am sure that he can locate someone in his area that can provide him quality service when he needs it. As for now, he is looking to make contacts with potential clients... not loan officers.

I got the same response from Kerry on my post about how/what to say when interviewing with brokers. People need to find a better way than attacking a forum to advertise their business.

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
