Top Producer is a contact data base and a calendar/organizer, right? So what can TP do for me that MS Works calendar or address book can't do. I don't care about transferring data from a PC to a PDA. It seems to me that the MS Works stuff will do the same basic job as TP, am I missing something?

Nope, you are not missing anything...I trashed my TP ver 6 before they went to TP7i. The software was too labor intensive to continue its maintenance, coming from 98ME to XP OS. MS outlook and office work better for me and my assistant and do not require constant IT support. I cannot rationalize having my database stored on someone else's server, regardless of promises on security either.

I would recommend your obtaining a copy of Ed Botts and Woody Leonhards MS Office 2003. With it you can expand on Outlook knowledge and use it in your databasing. MS Works is a light work version which does not have the capability of Word. There are some templates available for MS Office in real estate for around $400 but I did not buy them.
