If you are a newbie and feel yourself getting a bit jittery about being successful, perhaps we can help.

We want to work with agents around the country who want to make more money without burning gas showing a lot of homes.

We are real estate entrepreneurs who would love to work with aggressive agents who want to make extra income doing what you love. If you have a knack for identifying property and buyers, we can work together. We are buyers who want to tap into the experience of a RE agent.

This is not for everyone. It's more than a bird dog venture -- it's a partnership.

If interested, let us know.

I don't know why, and I don't mean to sound accusatory, but something sounds fishy about this.

I am reminded of the signs I alway see that say "Real Estate Apprentice Wanted - $20,000/month!"

I am not familiar with the "Real Estate Apprentice Wanted" signs or marketing concepts. If I were interested in it, I would probably perform the due diligence to find out more to see if it were something that I wanted to do and had the time to do it.

I would be suspect of anyone who contacted me and wanted to get involved quickly without asking any questions. I would opt not to work with them because I would see that I could have problems down the road.

I only want interested parties to contact me so I did not lay out the whole program right in front of everyone.

I would be more than happy to address this with those who really wanted to know more about it.

I am not asking for money but to tap into the expertise of real estate professionals. Is that wrong to do? If I needed to experiences of an attorney or mortgage broker, I would go to them.

I can understand skepticism but you did not ask me any questions about what I was doing. Yet, you put something out of the forum that will cause suspicion without the giving us the benefit of a doubt.

You are operating on limited knowledge but you jumped to the conclusion that something had to be wrong without additional questions directed to me.

If after examining what I am asking and you don't want to be involved, I will respect that and move one. Is that asking too much?

The bottom line for us is that we are looking to identify, buy and resale property in various locations. In order to do this we need help and are willing to share in the profits with a partner who wants to work with us.

We just need more bodies to get it down and we thought the best people to turn to would be those who scout out properties every day.

AvidExplorer, you can't blame anyone for being suspicious of your offering.
Being arguementative and confrontational will not change anyone's mind. You have to be more forthcoming or take your snake oil somewhere else.

Snake oil? Confrontational? Where is this coming from? Why do you choose to use such inflammatory words and remarks. If you read the reply carefully, I was answering the charge in a polite manner. I am bewildered as to the tone of these replies. I stated specifically that I had no problem answering to anyone what we are about and how the program works. If anyone wanted to know, all they would have to do is ask. Nowhere in these replies to me did anyone ask me to explain how it works. Notice the comments from you and the other reply was accusatory. Your replies suggest that I had something to hide.

I would never expect anyone to lay out their business plan for all the world to see without first knowing who is interested and who is not. It's good business practice. That is why I mentioned that those who are interested to contact me. All it takes is a simple e-mail to ask for additional information.

The first tactic you and the previous respondent used was to look at it suspiciously and voice those concerns to the general public. You didn't even give me the chance to explain to you individually what we were doing.

Why is that not a fair way of doing it?

If after careful review and due diligence something is found lacking, then you can make up your mind in an honest way.

To publicly accuse someone as being deceptive without evaluating the opportunity is not fair to anyone who posts a comment.

And not everything is for everybody. I know that and you know that. I am not asking for 100% participation from everyone who reads the posting. We just want a fair evaluation.

Why is it when I Google "assetbuyersconsortium" the only return is a site called "noagentsallowed.com"?

If your "plan" is legitimate, then why don't you just lay it out here (in basic form) and let us decide without having to waste time contacting you? Most people here receive plenty of SPAM without the need to sign up for it. I'm not saying that you are/will SPAM, but you must certainly understand (as a business person) that you need to provide a basic outline of your offering, in order to garner genuine interest.

You continue to further the suspicion by avoiding disclosure. Had you spent as much time posting your offering as you have in crafting your replies, everyone here would be able to make an educated, fair evaluation!

Joel1972,

What's your point? You seem like you were trying to find some kind of "dirt" on us to post? If you were truly interested, you would have sent me an e-mail message asking me for clarification. I don't know what you found or why you found it. I don't control what comes from GOOGLE.

Gulf Winds,

I would have no problem providing a basic outline but as I mentioned in earlier posts, no one ask me to do that. You never know what a person wants until they ask. I have had many write back individually to ask me what it is we do and to ascertain if they want to be involved. No one has come across with accusatory and inflammatory remarks like what has been posted here. Why take that route? Anyone with a computer has had SPAM from time to time and I can appreciate concerns about that.

It's not avoiding disclosure as much as it is trying to gauge general interest. All throughout postings on Agentsonline I've seen limited information provided on different opportunities. I never expected those that posted to give all of their information upfront until they were contacted.

BTW, I did give a quickl synopsis of what we were doing.

I shouldn't have had to "craft" the replies that I did. It was unnecessary and I never wanted to do it in the first place.

I have yet to see other postings that go into a lot of detail. One of the basic tenets of marketing is to provide some information to find out who is interested. In real estate, you don't cover A thru Z with buyers the first time you talk to him. You qualify them first. That's all we were doing.

What happened to the basics of simply asking the question, "Can you tell me more?"

No one has any time to waste on anything.

Can you tell me more? I do not wish to send or receive an e-mail.

Well, AvidExplorer, lets see. Searching Google tells me a few things. One, you don't have a web presence. Two, without a web presence your pitch becomes even more suspect. And three, the fact that the only site, the ONLY site that is returned is an anti-agent site means you have ZERO credibility.

We get bombarded with your type day in and day out. Go pitch your crap somewhere else.

We are focusing in on houses that are having a hard time selling in a market - especially new houses, vacant houses, etc.

We will buy and resale the houses that fit into our criteria (nice houses in nice areas that can be purchased at a discount).

In order to be effective, we will need additional manpower in each market to help us identify these houses, help us with negotiations with the sellers and work with us to secure buyers. We will qualify all of the sellers and fund the buyers once that information is forwarded to us.

We need to be able to duplicate our existing efforts across several markets. We are trying to do as much as possible via phone, fax, e-mail
or snail mail but there will be occasions where the buyer and seller will need face-to-face meetings. That is where our partners come in.

They are our onsite managers for each deal.

For their efforts, each partner will receive 50% of the profits.

Joel1972,

I am having a hard time understanding you. You make snap judgments and call them justified. What you don't understand, you attack. You react with anger and poison on your lips. Your use of profanity tells us more about you than you realize. I am always open to honest evaluation and debate. It is good for business and helps all of us improve our business model.

What you offer is detrimental to anyone who desires to build and grow a business. I do hope you can be open-minded in the future.

Avid. You should have a website. That will enhance your credibility right?

I agree with you on that. I have been reading posts here about various websites that are offered to RE professionals. I have finally found one that will probably work right for us. We were going to use one that only listed properties that we would sell. It would be specific to each house that we had to sell.

Up to this point, I could count on one hand how many people actually asked me if we had a site. The buyers and sellers we've talked to showed no interest in seeing a website. I wanted the website to do something besides being a conduit for showcasing who we are. I will be putting prequal forms, etc. on a website shortly. This site would be primarily for our buyers who need to see what houses we have available, financing, etc.

I appreciate your question and comment. It was taken as good business advice.

How do you buy these properties? Do you have a warehouse line or are you buying "subject to"?
