Sorry if the above post sounds grouchy, I just get tired of people saying things about people or systems they do not understand or have not tried (honestly tried). These systems do work...and so must you, there is no magic pill here. There are many ways to get business in real estate, pick one or two that your comfortable with and run with it. Best of luck. Chad, why did you stop using the success website?

I'm glad at least someone used them. I think they work, but am not sure if there are better options for stealth sites or neighborhood sites. I know most web guys think everything should be custom, but I'd rather pay the fee for something we can just do quickly.

MDHomes2go, the reason I stoped using them is not that simple but here are the main three. 1. I started getting somewhat busy and decided I was the reason as opposed to any system, 2. I was actually making enough money and was too lazy to follow up on all the leads so I turned off the tap (stupid yes, but understand I wanted to make six figures not multiple six figures) 3. Once I grew up and realized how stupid I was I decided to return to my roots only to go through a personal situation wich demotivated me for most of 2006. Rest assured I did not stop using them because it didn't work. I have a marketing degree and I am very much into reverse prospecting so this is how I wish to find business, it may not be for everyone, also it may seem costly to start and keep running but after awhile if you follow his or any of these guy's system it will pay for itself 5 times over.

Craigs approach and system are in my opinion outdated. He has no metatags or keywords built into the system,which can be a problem when everyone is using the same template.
Years ago Craigs system was fresh and new. Now, everyone has used it and done it before...

Of course she was.....the reason this stuff works is pyschological it has nothing to do with meta tags or seo placement. It is about the consumer so while his ideas are not new or fresh they never go out of style because people never get tired of thinking about themselves. It is not about the agent. Now if you wish to critique the seo capabilities of the web site that is different but does it work.....absolutely. Stop worrying about what you think is cheesy because it is about what the consumer is interested in that matters.

I have used the craig proctor website for around 4 years now. It has worked very well for me. In the first year that I had the site I generated over 1200 leads, I followed up with about 100 of them, I was very lazy. Over the next 3 years I made over $100,000+ working under 15 hours a week. One customer that the I got from the website ended up paying over $70,000 in commissions. I still use his website, im sure there are a million internet experts that would say its not so great, but yes it does work well.

I have had alot of customers comment on how much content is available on the site, and they tell me that it was one of the most informative sites that they have seen.

I use all of my own marketing techniques and probably dont use any of craigs that I know of. I know nothing about SEO or fancy internet stuff. But, I do know how to find buyers better than 95% of the agents in my market.
