I recently finished my classes and passed the class test (CT Real Estate Dev Center). I was wondering if anyone has taken the licensing exam since Promissor took over. I'm concerned that the questions will be very different from the class test. I purchased a study guide to passing the Promissor exam and the questions are much different.

Hey This is Rae - we must have taken the same class cause that's where I took mine and I think there were people from Wolcott there. I was the brunette who sat near the back closet - 2nd to last row (the math geek lol) .

I'm still waiting to get my certification letter saying I passed - how about you?

Have you picked a company yet? I think I'm sticking with C21 access america.....they have great training and there is an office 2 mins from my house...

I got my certificate today, tested 12/12. You should probably call them. You tested a while ago. Sending my application to the state next week.

I am interviewing just after the new year with C21. Haven't called any others yet. Still doing my research.

I just got my license on the 8th. I thought the state test wasn't as bad as my class exam, but that's the way it should be. The instructor should make that test more difficult to make the state exam seem easier. I recommend taking the test as soon as possible while everything is still fresh.

FYI: decide on an agency before your state exam. You'll get your state exam results right then and there after you finish, but the agent is the one who sends in the paperwork for your license. That takes a couple of weeks and you'll need that to do other required things like join a board of Realtors (those applications all ask for your license number).
