I am in TN but I assume it to be the generally the same everywhere. First you have to actually find a brokerage that is willing to take you on, have them sign the appropriate forms and send it in for you to receive your license. As I am sure you learned in your licensing course you don’t have a license unless you have broker sponsorship.
As far as being able to suggest a good company for training I am sadly unable to even comment on this other than to say how much it will make a difference to you as a fellow new agent. The company I placed my license at is a smaller family owned company and has, for the most part, a non-existent training program and to be honest the only time they have ever even called me was to tell me to pick up my mail.
My advice, for what it worth is, take your time and don’t just go with the first company that says they will take you on. Make sure they are really what you’re looking for.
