Jaclyn,
The best thing you can do is learn...
Learn your area, subscribe to online publications so that you can be informed regionally & nationally...I don't know if your MLS has hotsheets or not but, set up searches for your area & watch/learn the listings, the expireds, the withdrawns, solds, etc, etc...This will help you learn and apply the data with what your seeing "advertised"...
When you see a listing in your area has sold/closed...check out the price, concessions, DOM (days on market) and store the info in your brain... Eventually, you will get a feel and understand what people mean when they say, "Know your market"...
Watch & see what the veterans are doing...You can pick up a lot of info just from being in the office...
Leave your business card EVERYWHERE! You don't have to hound people...just be friendly...just LISTEN and engage them... (example - say you eat at a diner and you strike up a conversation with the waitress or another customer... You don't even have to tell them your an agent, just leave your card on the counter/table... (Sure most of them are going to be 86'd but, what about the one that doesn't)...
Hang your card on any cork board you see...
And don't expect it to happen overnight...plan for the long haul... It's kind of like dieting and standing on the scale, everyday...can be overwhelming...
This is, by no means, everything...just a few tidbits to get you moving...
Don't worry about what you're lacking (age, experience, etc.)...concentrate on what you HAVE...
Good Luck!
