Classes took me about a year to complete, took the test about six months after my last class, passed right away. Studied using a CD specifically designed to function like the Ohio test, and had a bank of over 1000 questions, used the CD for about 20 minutes every day.

CT. I studied for about 45 minutes a day. The class ended in the end of August but couldn't test until middle of October because of the testing company was full. I passed the general part the first time, but missed the state part by 1 question. I went back a week later and passed the state part.

Texas and I took the exam once and passed it. Once I finished RE course I took a prep course (it helped alot) the week of my exam. I also studied about 30 min a day the week of my exam.

Missouri and I took the salespersons classroom training for 2 weeks and then my test the day after class ended--started right in on my brokers the next week and passed it the following week. I studied at least 2 hours every night.

Jackie it took me 6 months to do my classes, I was a college student and was able to mix my classes in with my other classes. I took the test about 6 months later. I Passed the sate part of the exam on the first time and the National portion on the second. I never studied for the exam until I had to take the national part again I studied 1 hour every other day foe 2 weeks. To be honest I thought the test was easy. I only missed passing the first time by 2 questions. If I had studied the first time I’m sure I would have passed it all the first time. By the way I’m in Ohio

Here in Colorado the classes are about a month if you go all day every day M-F. If you do the 4 hour evening classes every evening it takes 2 months, and if you do all day Saturday and Sunday it takes 3 months. (That's for a brokers license. We don't have sales licenses here). I did home study for 6-8 hours per day and it took me 9 days on my own. I took the exam within a week and passed my first time. I had already been managing large apartment complexes for 6 years and taught the fair housing training for my company- plus my parents were real estate investors, so I had a little head start.
