I passed my test the first time. I'm in PA and I took my exam 2 weeks after I got all my paperwork back from school. Especially a week before up until 10 seconds before the test, I was studying.

I got 87 on my state test and 95 on national.

My advice, the sooner you take the test (after you finish school), the better your chances are of passing. All that stuff is still fresh in your mind.

I am in PA, took the course over three weekends (all day both days). I took notes in class, studied vocabulary words, studied, took practice exams from "Guide to taking the PSI Exam" and one exam book dedicated to the state exam.

I studied, studied, studied about a week before the test (the test was about three weeks after my last class). I also have learned a lot merely by working in a real estate office for nearly a year.

I passed with flying colors (97 on national and 93 on state), and I was finished with the test in near record time too..you are allowed 3 hours to complete it; I was done in 40 minutes. LOL

Connecticut - Took the required 60 hours class, studied the book, got a 93% on the exam at the end of the class, and then passed both general practice and state exam on the first shot.

Just took my FL state exam yesterday for the first time. Wasn't nearly as hard as alot of people had made it out to be. Passed and didn't take 1/3 the time they allow. (3 and a half hours for 100 questions!)

California, passed the first time. I decided that I didn't want for my RE studies to drag out, so start-to-finish only took me about 6 weeks. Took Kaplan courses for 4 weeks (2 nights/week, 3 hrs each), studied on my own for 2 weeks, took the "exam cram" over one weekend and then passed the state exam the following week. Best advice I got was that once the class is over, forget the notes and books and just do questions, more questions and then some more questions. They give you a CD with about 900 questions and advise you to go through it 3 times. I did that and felt good throughout the test, passed it with little trouble.

I took my courses online. I studied a little bit the first time around but not as much as I should have and missed it by 2%.
I waited 2 months to take the next test and missed it by 5%. I should have not waited this long, but I had lots of personal stuff going on. The next time around I took it a month later and stayed up most of the night studying and passed.
