I havent heard what their commision split was yet but one place I was talking to offered these goods for agents. It is one of those big big independent places. Although all this below looks good. Is this usually what a 50/50 split office looks like? This place is easily in the top 5 of my list, but still no decision. Our city has ReMax, Century 21 but no KW. As a "poor" but ambitious returning agent, this could fit my profile since I dont have a dime left after board dues, mls dues etc to upgrade my computer and my other things. I need to utitlize a well equipped workspace until I can establish myself better at the home office and on the road.

What you ahve listed will do help you stand out as a tech savy agent. Bottom lines is what it is going to cost you. If you have a reputation or SOI and do not need firms name to build business it does not matter where you are.How many agents are teh office? how is the training? Any admin. or office fee? Go where you think its best for you...its a busieness and every agent in any office is a competition for you.

just over 100. Training both to stay out of trouble and to generate sales leads is pretty top rate. I twice considered their pre-licensure course.

I fit the profile for the time being of lacking a sales rep and and am trying to attach to a big name sign admittedly. However, Im not totally green to the RE business as I was a pretty solid producer in other states before Illinois. Many many years ago. Deactivated in 1990. But prior to that I was pre-licensure instructor in Maryland. In Illinois, I have a sleeping SOI. I would actually be farming my small hometown 40 minutes away from the office in the big city. Every body knows my kin but dont know of Kev the Real Estate man. I am sitting for the brokers exam instead of the salesperson. That might give some prospective clients and customers te feeling I know something about the business.

WOW! If all that was offered, I wouldn't be so upset about getting a small split!

if its a 50/50 split and no transaction/desk fees Ill probably jump on it. Ill just be another newbie agent like anyone else even though Ill have a brokers license.
