I highly recommend that anyone NOT use Careerwebschool.com!!

Not only does their customer service leave much to be desired, but the material covered in the course did NOT prepare me for the exam, especially the state specific part. I barely passed, and only because I had extensive RE knowledge from investing already.

Do yourself a favor and choose another school.

Unfortunately I already did pay for carrerwebschool RE class and unfortunately I've had the same experience as you did. I haven't taken the exam, but the course is so poorly written that I think I will have to study some other materials to pass any exam.
They took three weeks to answer few of my questions and I had to call them four times for that. Their reasoning was that my questions were outside the covered material and therefore some research was needed (who are these people that answer the questions???)
In addition, I found that it is a very bad idea not to have any CD or printed material of the course. I’ve had to take my own notes along the way and that slowed down my pace considerably (they disable your computer’s copy/paste functions while you are longed in – as if somebody would really copy and distribute for profit that course; nobody would buy it!).
So, yes, stay clear of careerwebschool!

Try GAMLS. gamls.com.

Their online product is pretty good.

Kgain25,
I live in McDonough too. I actually went to the GAMLS in Morrow. I loved it! I passed the classes with no problem and the state on the first try. I made an 88, but I would have been just as happy with a 76! (You'll understand when you take the test!) I went to the Decatur location to take a Terms and Concepts make-up class and the final. I heard a lot of people say they had taken the courses online. Many of them said it took them 6 months or longer to get through the online course. I did have a friend who finished much earlier though. I guess it depends on your schedule and motivation. Please do a search on this forum for start-up costs. This seems to be the biggest surprise to everyone who first gets their license. They do not share those with you in class, or at least not in mine. Oh and if I did have to do it all over again I would have went to the Decatur location for ALL of the classes. I loved my Terms and Concepts instructor! His name is Bob Hart. I believe he was also the director of education at GAMLS too. Good luck with your decision!

My problem is I dont have the time to take an in class course. So the GAMLS online course is good? Has anyone taken it? Is the course written well? Also is there any other online schools I should consider? Thanks
