So far, I've read a lot about the rewards and pitfalls of being a Real Estate agent, but nothing from the perspective of a New York agent. I'm pretty sure, from my own experience of finding a rental property with an agent, that the market here is a little different than other places. I live on the Upper East Side and in the office that finally got me my apartment, it seemed as if the agents had their hands full finding places to rent for all of the prospective renters....In other words, a pretty decent career right off the bat. Can anyone comment on whether or not this is true from their first-hand experience? Thanks so much!
