When the Alaska Pipe-Line was placed years ago, the labor force was pulled from all over the U.S. creating a very fast shortage of homes. The population boomed and so did the commercial properties.
Right now Alaska is on the brink of installing a natural gas line that will span over thousands of miles like the 1st pipe line did. The construction from our military demand is also requiring labor forces beyond our local availabilities. Many soldiers are being housed in hotels, all local hotels are full. One hotel just completed construction in the winter of Fairbanks and is near capacity. In short, property is on the brink of a boom. It's a good time to look to Alaska again.
