Should not be a problem. This is done quite often with empty retail storefronts. Have seen booksellers that come into town for only a few weeks and get a short-term lease for the duration of their stay. Contact a commercial agent in your area and discuss your needs.

This question might be way out of wack and completely dismissable to the many professionals on this site - but if anyone is able to help me out with this qeustion it would be so grately appreciated.
I live in Toronto, ON - Canada, and am interested in having a large party. I thought it would be really great if i could get a temporary location (that is not a current licensed club location). Now I had my eye on location and they were all industrial warehouses or factories.
So my question is : IS THERE ANY SUCH THING AS A SOMEWHAT TEMPORARY LEASE? I am well aware that I would have to deal with different issues like zoning ect. But it would really help along.
So; LEGALLY WOULD I BE ABLE TO LEASE THIS LOCATION FOR ONLY A MONTHS TIME? OR EVEN LESS THAN THAT????
