Hello Everyone,

I operate a very successful website that specializes in advertising a very niche type of real estate. We receive many leads a day from potential buyers of these often very expensive properties, however because we are not real estate brokers, we are unable to do much with these leads. I would like to partner with a licensed broker and create an independent brokerage based out of Toronto (we have an available office in our current office space) to deal with these leads. Any advice on how I may find such a person would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a personals ad. Maybe make an agreement with an existing broker who has the infrastructure to make sure your leads are properly handled. We generate far more leads than we can handle but don't have the ability to convert on them.

It sounds you are in the same boat as me. Do you have any suggestions on how I'd find such a person?

Most of the agents who specialize in this kind of real estate don't live in Toronto, so I have considered working with someone located in another city, but I have to admit I still prefer working together out of the same offices.

This isn't a personal ad, since I'm not even totally sure of the kind of person/arrangement I'm looking for. What I'm trying to do is get some ideas on how I might approach this.

This can be a challenge ….

Using the internet to generate “potential buyer” leads for niche real estate is a relatively simple thing to do …. As Sheldon said, it’s the conversion of those leads to dollars that’s problematic.

I have several questions which may help get some direction:

- how well does your site screen these contacts before accepting their contact information.
- Are these buyers leads for the Toronto area ? What I mean is, will these leads be in your brokers market area ?

You didn’t have a URL in your signature … can I see the site to better judge ?
