I have a relative who has a timeshare in Collingwood Ont. and wants to get rid of it. They asked me to look into it, but it's not something my company is into. I contacted the Broker/Owner of a Coldwell Banker franchise in Collingwood and he said they don't deal with them because there is no way to place a market value on them (no MLS history). Does anyone know a reputable person who specializes in this? I'm not looking to profit on this, just watching out for an elderly relative. Thanks.

Hey Bernie,
I don't know about Time shares that much but one person I do know is truly an expert if not the King of fractional and resort real estate. He may have a lead for you. Mark Jennings Bates with CB horizon real estate in Kelowna is his name

Thanks Sheldon, I will send him an e-mail and see if he can help. Are you guys planning to be in Ontario for the holidays?

Yes, that's true. Sounds like you guys had a great year...what do you expect for Edmonton R.E. in 2007?

A little bit of the same. Slightly slower pace. With interest rates coming down because of Ontario and Quebec that should fuel things. However there will be an increase in inventory which should slow the rate of price increases. If you are really interested or have clients interested in investing in Edmonton, Sara posts just about everything related to Edmonton real estate on our blog. What about Toronton, how are things looking there.

I'm on there right now trying to figure out what's going on. I know it was ok on Tuesday... I don't expect the market to change all that much here, seems to keep rolling along.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
