In the past I have used top producer 6i, and previous top producer models. I have found myself slowly phasing top producer out. I am using Outlook with a real estate plug in for the most part.

I've been using MS Outlook 2003 which works well but has its limits.
I just downloaded Agent Organizer with a 15 day trail. So far looks great.
take care

Check your MLS. We actually have a very nice contact management program that came with the MLS software, Paragon. And it was included with the cost of the MLS, which we have to pay anyway.

As a member of a board of realtors, I've seen some really upset agents when the board decided to change MLS providers. One of the main reasons that Paragon and others offer contact management free is they hope that the agents will use it and fight any change to another provider.

Since changes happen, I recommend on my site that you not use the MLS provider system. You don't have control. It's your business, and you should control all facets of your marketing.

Great comments from everyone. It's a toss up right now between Agent Orgainizer and Act 2006.

Wishing everyone Continued Success

We have MLXchange here and it SUCKS! Not just a little. It full on sucks. To many problems with it to list here. So using their contact management stuff just isn't an option for us.

I've used them all: TP, Agent 2000, Maximizer, Outlook, etc. but I find Act to be the best. They have a real estate specific version being released at the end of this month and I'm very anxious to see it.
Act is great because you can sync it with Outlook.

MLX is very unstable. User unfriendly and slow. It crashes regularly. We deserve better for what we pay. I've seen amatuers put better programs together.

SugarCRM - web based, easy to customize, FREE for the open source version which I run my entire business on, but extensible with more features in the pro version and enterprise version.

I know I have said GOLD CALLING. This is your contact manager of the future. And it is here now. Not only is it a contact manager but you get to use voip with it.Its webbased and you get features like auto responders, trickle email so if you want to send newsletters or webcards you can without your ISP saying its spam. You get a SAN# and skype # you also get capture feature so your web trafic will be put into a lead in your contact manager and you see it all in real time. when someone calls you you are notified. Your able to type notes and mark an automatic follow up on a certain day. The system will do it all for you if you want. This system will work anywhere in the world.as long as you have internet. You can use genutec or protus at a discount price ... I mean discount.

www.goldcalling.com

watch the tutorials. You will like what you see.

Voip gnererates about 20 prospects a day and lets face it that is pretty good for paying 10 bucks.

The system is $1500. I have sold a few but have no interest selling them anymore. You can become a reseller if you want to. I have a friend who will actually give you 25000 leads with it , if you go through him.

Even if you dont buy this from him.... watch the tutorials. I have not seen anything like it EVER!

I can call 10,000 people for about 100 bucks. Not bad for a numbers game. My scripts have worked for me. This is not an autodialer. This is a contact manager on steroids. Just watch the tutorials and you will see what I mean.

you even can get a toll free number or a local number with it too.

All the broadcasts that you do are in compliance by being scrubbed on the dnc.

Imagine if you were at a home show and you got a few hundred leads...... you can import these into your system and follow up with them for a few bucks here and there . You will be able to see duplicate leads if that happens and transfer notes so you create a history.
