Hi Ray, don't waste your money, a quick search of H.V. in this forum should give you all the info you need. In short a total scam and a coslty lesson in the U.S. or Canada.

I had an interesting point of contact last week, from a member of the public, complaining that no one from HV had responded to her request for a home evaluation.

She tried to make contact with them more than once, and just couldn't figure why no one from HV got back to her, especially since they are into such heavy promo advertising.

It is not the first time I have heard this.

Scam...cost to success ratio very low. Spend a couple days and learn how google ad words works or read one of our Network News newsletters that explains how to do it your self... Step by Step.

The success of House Values leads is entirely up to the abilities of the agent. An agent who expects a free ride will be wasting their money on HV. It is true that some of the leads are just neighbours, or kids, but you can return a lead within 24 hours... so why not call them, or look them up on MPAC to find out if the lead is legit. The truth is that someone was thinking about real estate and that's why they called. Just keep in contact with them, and you will be successful.

I am a new agent and have closed 12 deals in 3 months... I am always on top of the market because I am always getting requests for CMA's either through HV or through my own means. I also have 5 active listings with more in the pipe's.

I am still on the jury with HV though. 1 sale is more than worth it in terms of ROI. \:\) There are always two sides to a story, and remember success doesn't come without some risk.

Hi Andrew, the fact that H.V. generates leads has never been in dispute, however you will find that for $600 or more a month that there are many more effective ways to get business. While you may have had good results with them most would say otherwise. In 20004/2005 I completed nearly 60 transactions with very little advertiseing or paying for a lead generator (2006 was a write off for personal reasons) I did however invest in farming wich has paid of handsomely and while I received only a few calls every month most where paydays., so little time was spent following up and I started to brand myself a little as well. Hey if it works for you cheers and don't stop but there are possibly better ways or at least different ways to get business with a better return on investment. Just my opinion. Now stay away from my market,LOL.

The best way is to create your own lead generating system(web) where people can visit. It doesn't cost you much. Just spend some money with google for couple of months. I know some one who can design a lead generating web for low cost.
If any one interested, mail me
