I wasn’t aware individual offices could opt in or out of the “providers” programs. In the rest of the province, I understand the member brokers decide once, then the board allows one provider to offer the service to any member who wants to use it.

I guess TREB’s size makes things different.

But at the end of the day, I question how much value the public will find in not knowing which 25% - 75% of the inventory they’re not seeing, and will simply use mls .ca for property searches.

I believe there are other ways to make a web site a profitable part of your business.

The new standard coming to us realtors soon is RETS as their is a free solution to pulling listings from the mls with the vielerets script with open realty.
