That's an excellent question. Do you want to learn about mortgages and taxation in combination, or as separate articles?
The best book that I've found on the subject of mortgages and taxation together is the Smith Manoeuvre. It's actually a strategy we've been promoting quite heavily lately and is an excellent way to accomplish three things:
1) Pay your mortgage (bad debt) off faster
2) Grow your networth faster and higher
3) Earn free money in the form of tax refunds from the CRA.
